Sat Sharma attends 454th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nabha Dass Ji in Jammu

Jammu and Kashmir BJP President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, today attended the celebration of the 454th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj at Abhinav Theatre. The event witnessed a large gathering of devotees, public representatives and citizens who came together to pay tribute to the revered saint and reflect on his teachings.
Paying obeisance to Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj, Sat Sharma extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion. In his address, he highlighted the timeless relevance of Guru Ji’s spiritual teachings and his immense contribution to India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. He stated that the teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji continue to guide society towards righteousness, unity and compassion. Sat Sharma emphasized that Guru Nabha Dass Ji propagated the message of social awakening and harmony, advocating brotherhood and compassion as the foundation of service to humanity. He noted that in today’s fast-changing world, such values are more important than ever in fostering peace and unity among different sections of society. He urged people to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of the saint and work collectively towards building a harmonious and inclusive society. Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma also addressed the gathering and spoke about the enduring legacy of Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj. He said that the saint guided humanity to live an honest, truthful and virtuous life. According to him, Guru Ji’s works inspired society towards devotion and played a vital role in revitalizing Indian civilization and culture. He added that the teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji instilled confidence and moral strength among the masses, encouraging them to lead purposeful lives.
Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and former Minister, also spoke on the occasion and called upon people to rise above narrow considerations and work towards unity across all sections of society. He stated that the progressive teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji envisioned an ideal society free from divisions and discrimination, thereby strengthening social equity and mutual respect among communities. Referring to the Bhakti movement, Dr. Manyal highlighted that Guru Nabha Dass Ji emphasized devotion and spiritual upliftment while advocating the elimination of class distinctions.
He noted that the saint’s teachings were aimed at fostering stronger social bonds and promoting brotherhood. He further added that Guru Ji regarded devotion and meditation as powerful means for continuous self-transformation, describing life as an ongoing process of growth and evolution.

The event also featured the felicitation of achievers from various fields who have made notable contributions in their respective domains. Sat Sharma and Jugal Kishore Sharma honoured these individuals, recognizing their efforts and encouraging others to strive for excellence in their pursuits.
Among those present on the occasion were Yudhvir Sethi, Bharat Bhushan and Sansar Chand, along with senior officials and a large number of devotees and members of the public. The ?????? concluded with a sense of spiritual reflection and renewed commitment to the values of unity, compassion and service as propagated by Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj.
