A public awareness meeting focused on strengthening the accuracy and reliability of electoral rolls was held in Patta Bohri, Ward 41, with active participation from local residents. The gathering aimed to encourage citizens to take part in the ongoing process of updating voter records and ensuring that the electoral system remains transparent and inclusive. Addressing the meeting, Shri Krishan Lal Sharma highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and error-free voter list. He explained that the process involves identifying and removing duplicate or incorrect entries, deleting the names of deceased individuals, and adding eligible new voters who have recently attained voting age. He further stressed that correcting discrepancies in voter details is essential to uphold the credibility of the democratic process and to guarantee fair elections. Sharma called upon residents to extend full cooperation to Booth Level Officers during the Special Summary Revision of the electoral roll. He emphasized that public participation plays a vital role in ensuring that every eligible citizen is able to exercise their right to vote without any hindrance. He also encouraged people to remain vigilant and proactive in verifying their details and reporting any inconsistencies. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting a growing awareness among citizens about the importance of accurate voter registration. Speakers at the event underlined that a reliable electoral roll is the foundation of a strong democracy and urged the community to contribute positively to this effort.

The programme concluded with a collective appeal to residents to actively engage in the revision process and ensure that the electoral database remains accurate, updated, and reflective of the true voting population.
