Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, today visited Zainapora to offer her heartfelt condolences and express solidarity with MLA Showkat Hussain Ganie on the demise of his mother. The Minister’s visit was aimed at personally conveying sympathy to the bereaved family and sharing in their grief during this difficult time.
During her visit, Minister Sakeena Itoo met the bereaved family members and spent time with them, expressing deep sorrow over the unfortunate demise. She shared their pain and conveyed her heartfelt condolences, assuring them of her support and solidarity. The Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and sought strength and patience for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
She expressed profound grief over the passing away of the mother of MLA Showkat Hussain Ganie and said that the loss of a parent is one of the most painful experiences in life. She added that such moments require collective support and compassion, and assured the family that they are not alone in their grief. While interacting with the family, Sakeena Itoo joined them in prayers and hoped that the departed soul is granted the highest place in Jannah. She prayed for peace and mercy upon the soul of the deceased and extended her emotional support to the grieving family members.
The Minister also prayed for strength, courage, and fortitude for the bereaved family so that they may be able to bear this immense loss with patience and dignity. She reiterated that the government stands with public representatives and citizens in all moments of grief and hardship.
Several public representatives also accompanied the Minister during the visit. MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, MLA Pahalgam Altaf Ahmad Wani, and MLA Devsar Peerzada Feroze Ahmad were present on the occasion.
They also expressed their condolences and stood in solidarity with MLA Showkat Hussain Ganie and his family.
The visiting delegation collectively conveyed their sympathies and prayed for the departed soul. They highlighted the importance of standing together in moments of personal loss and supporting one another in times of sorrow.
