Vacancies for the government jobs of Hospital staff have been announced by the Administration. According to a notice issued by the Principal of GMC Jammu, Dr. Shashi Sudan, the vacancies for the Nursing, Paramedical and Technical staff for GMC and associated Hospitals have been declared.
The post of Junior Staff Nurse has been announced with 100 vacancies, 30 vacancies for Lab Assistant, 30 vacancies for Anaesthesia Technician, 30 vacancies for Pharmacists and 30 vacancies for OT Technician.
The recruitment notification has been issued under Emergency COVID response package (ECRp) and eligible applicants can apply for the vacancies till 15th May. However, the job tenure is limited to 3-6 months.
The recruitment was published due to lack of ventilators and oxygen cylinders operating technicians and also to strengthen the Paramedical staff.
