DMO Geology and Mining Department, Ankur Sachdev wrote an application to the SSC Jammu appealing to register a FIR against Former MLC Vikram Randhawa.
As per Sachdev, Randhawa in a press conference gave him and his family an open life threat and used abusive language against him. He urged SSC Jammu to file a complaint against him on the basis of threatening him and obstructing him from doing his duties.
“In a press conference held at his residence, Sh. Vikram Randhawa and openly threatened to kill undersigned (Ankur Sachdev) by shooting and by burning and self immolate as well. He used abusive language against me and my family including my parents and my daughter as well.” The letter read
“It is requested to kindly register FIR against Sh. Vikram Randhawa for threatening to kill government officer, trying to prevent government officer to perform official duties and using abusive language against government officer and family members.” it added
Problems increase for the former MLC as a defamation notice has been sent to Vikram Randhawa by Dr. Jitendra Singh’s advocate Sanjeev Sharma. If the former fails to apologise in front of Media within next 24 hours, a defamation case and a penalty of 1 crore would be filed.
