JAMMU: Rotaract Club of Jammu City installed a dog shelter at parking area of Purani Mandi under its project ‘PAWsible Together’ that aims at helping the strays in the chilling cold of Jammu. Animals feel all kinds of pain but cannot express.
The Club aims at spreading the idea which in turn would inspire others to follow the same, or at least do something to help these innocent creatures of God so that no dog is left homeless in this cold. The shelter was inaugurated by the office-bearers of Rotary Club Jammu City (Parent Club of Rotaract Club of Jammu City). Rotaract Club of Jammu City also installed beds made of sacks and tyres and shelter made from tarpaulin for the dogs few days ago.
The Club intends to take care of them and help them become healthy physically and emotionally.
