JAMMU: Newly appointed Secretary J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Nuzhat Gul took over the charge of the post.
Nuzhat was offered the seat by the outgoing Secretary, Dr Naseem Javaid Choudhary at Sports House, MA Stadium, here. Soon after she took over the charge, Nuzhat had an introductory meeting with staff of the personal section and those senior managers and Divisional Sports Officer.
Acting swiftly on a complaint lodged against international cricketer and junior coach with JKSC, Abid Nabi, the Secretary ordered latter’s suspension pending inquiry.
