Samsung India has opened pre-orders for its latest foldable smartphone lineup, introducing the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. The new generation of foldable devices combines upgraded hardware with Galaxy AI capabilities, aiming to enhance productivity, creativity and everyday convenience. Customers can pre-order the devices with benefits including an upgrade bonus of up to ?10,000, bank or UPI cashback of up to Rs 9,000, and no-cost EMI options for up to 30 months with zero down payment.
Samsung said the latest Galaxy Z series represents seven generations of foldable innovation, bringing improvements in design, display quality, durability and performance. The smartphones are powered by Galaxy AI with Gemini Intelligence, enabling users to complete tasks more efficiently while maintaining strong privacy and security controls.
Samsung Southwest Asia President and CEO JB Park said the continued success of Samsung’s foldable smartphones reflects growing consumer demand for premium devices that combine innovative design with intelligent features.
He added that the new foldable range has been manufactured in India and supported by the company’s research and development capabilities in the country.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is designed for users seeking an immersive viewing experience. Weighing only 201 grams, it is Samsung’s lightest Fold smartphone to date. It features a 4,800mAh battery, a brighter display with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, reduced screen crease visibility and a dual 50MP camera system with enhanced content creation features.
The premium Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is targeted at professionals and content creators. It comes with an 8-inch main display, measures just 4.1mm when unfolded and weighs 215 grams. Equipped with a 200MP primary camera, a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, 8K video recording support and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the device also houses a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 focuses on portability and AI-powered convenience. Weighing 180 grams and only 6.1mm thick, it is Samsung’s slimmest Flip smartphone yet. It offers an AI-enabled FlexWindow, a 50MP camera with Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, Flex Mode photography and enhanced hands-free shooting capabilities.
Samsung has also strengthened security across the new lineup through Samsung Knox, Knox Vault and One UI 9 privacy enhancements, giving users greater control over AI activity and personal data. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at Rs 1,99,999, the Galaxy Z Fold8 at Rs 1,79,999 and the Galaxy Z Flip8 at Rs 1,24,999. Buyers can also opt for Samsung Care+ and Galaxy Forever plans, which provide extended protection, accidental damage coverage and assured buyback benefits.
