Today, at Akhnoor, Jammu, SadguruMadhuparamhans Ji Maharaj of Sahib Bandgi blessed the congregation with his enlightening discourses, stating that the entire world is in the grip of a demonic force. This force makes things happen exactly as it desires.
The whole world is entangled in the pursuit of livelihood; no one is prepared to work for the welfare of the soul. There is great turmoil within. When you introspect deeply, the mind reveals itself; it is the mind, residing within, that leads you astray. If you were to thoroughly search the entire body, you would find only the mind. The senses are the mind, and the mind itself is the mind.
The mind is immensely powerful; it makes everyone dance to its tune. Sahib has spoken more about the mind than about anything else. He stated that Kaal (Time/Death)-in the form of the mind-resides with the living being, yet no one is able to comprehend it.
Observe how, in the past, there used to be facilities for cool drinking water at railway stations. Nowadays, the ‘water mafia’ has removed them, and bottled water is sold instead; everyone now carries a water bottle with them. Corruption has risen.
If you look closely, a demonic force is at work. A man once came to me and said, “A ghost resides inside my wife.” I told him, “There are fourteen ghosts residing within you as well.” He looked at me in astonishment, thinking, “Guruji is lying; there is no ghost inside me.”
When a ghost possesses a person, it obliterates their senses; similarly, lust, anger, arrogance, greed, and attachment are all ghosts. They reside within everyone. Do you not see how a person becomes mad with rage? They resort to violence and bloodshed. Fourteen messengers of Yama (the God of Death) dwell in every heart; they rise up whenever they find an opportunity. When lust surges, it can unhinge even the most formidable minds.
Whenever a malevolent spirit enters someone, it suppresses their consciousness. Thus, the man could see the ghost within his wife, yet he failed to perceive the ghosts residing within himself. The vehicles created by Elon Musk do not require a driver; in the future, airplanes will operate the same way. Yet, none of this surprises me. While humanity has made immense material progress, no one is looking within.
The entire family of Maya (illusion) dwells here, and the body is being plundered. The malevolent forces residing within the body prevent the soul from awakening and stop it from looking inward, constantly distracting everyone with the external world.
Many forces are at work to keep the soul bound in this manner. Only through the power of the Sadguru’s name can the individual soul escape these forces and journey to its true abode, Amarlok.
