Young Leaders Take Oath at the Grand Investiture Ceremony of Rich Harvest School

RHS organised its Investiture Ceremony on 20th May with great enthusiasm and dignity. The programme commenced with a warm welcome accorded by Ms Anita Bhatia, Head of Institution, to the Chief Guest Mohd. Anwar-Ul-Haq-SSP ANTF, Mrs Uma Katal, Vice-Chairperson, Rich Harvest School; Mr Ranbir Katal, Member Advisory Board; Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust; Managing Director, Advocate Gambhir Dev Singh Charak; and Mrs Ruchi Charak, Director, Rich Harvest School.
A heartfelt Shradhanjali was paid to the former Chairman, Late Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, remembering his invaluable contribution and visionary leadership towards the growth of the institution.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the spread of knowledge and leadership. The newly elected student council members, led by Head Boy Aarav Sharma and Head Girl Arohi Goswami, were formally entrusted with their responsibilities and pledged to uphold the values, discipline and ethos of the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs Ruchi Charak inspired the students to lead with sincerity, confidence and dedication. The Chief Guest, Mohd. Anwar-Ul-Haq, motivated the young leaders to become responsible citizens and ambassadors of a drug-free society. Mr Ranbir Katal encouraged the students to uphold discipline, integrity and commitment while discharging their duties as young leaders. Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak appreciated the efforts of the school in nurturing leadership and moral values among students.
The programme featured a soulful “Nasha Mukt” awareness song and a vibrant Dogri folk dance performance that added cultural fervour to the occasion.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
