Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday announced to have snapped ties with poll strategy firm I-PAC and levelled serious allegations against the BJP, claiming that the party had rigged polls in West Bengal. He said the INDIA bloc stood firm till the last moment and won the Lok Sabha elections. However, despite forming a minority government, the BJP-led NDA government cheated them. The SP president claimed that the BJP shamelessly committed vote theft in West Bengal. It did not hesitate to use the police administration illegally. The BJP has nothing to counter the PDA in Uttar Pradesh. The PDA has the largest vote share, and that is why the BJP is perplexed. Akhilesh Yadav referred to the BJP’s “10 Number Model” while alleging irregularities in various places, including Chandigarh and Kundarki. Akhilesh Yadav launched his sharpest attack on the Kundarki and Rampur by-elections, saying that there was massive rigging in these elections. He called it a “multi-layered election mafia” and alleged that votes were robbed.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party has terminated its agreement with election strategy firm I-PAC.
Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav said, “Yes, we had a tie-up with I-PAC, and it worked for us for a few months, but now we are unable to work together because we are short of funds.” The SP president further said,” Some people had told us about a company that could help us win elections. They advised us to conduct surveys through C-Voters. We were also asked to hire AVM Company and told that if we wanted to run negative propaganda against someone on social media, we must connect with the 360-Degree company and fund them. But now, we have decided not to engage anyone.”
