ADC inspects ongoing development works across Sub-District Bhaderwah

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Bhutyal on Sunday conducted an extensive inspection tour across various locations in Sub-District Bhaderwah to review the progress of ongoing development works and assess the condition of public facilities. The visit was aimed at ensuring that infrastructure projects are being executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting set deadlines.
The ADC was accompanied by the Assistant Engineer and officials from the Public Works Department, Irrigation Department, along with contractors associated with the projects. During the tour, he interacted with the officials on-site and sought detailed updates regarding the status of different works being undertaken in the area.
During his visit, the ADC inspected the Veterinary Hospital in Bhaderwah to evaluate the availability and quality of livestock healthcare services. He reviewed the existing infrastructure and emphasized the importance of strengthening veterinary facilities to support farmers and livestock owners in the region. Stressing the role of animal husbandry in the local economy, he directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper maintenance of facilities and availability of essential services.
The inspection also included a visit to Circular Road, where the ADC examined the ongoing construction of an irrigation protection wall. He instructed the executing agencies to adhere strictly to prescribed quality norms and ensure that the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe. Highlighting the importance of such infrastructure in safeguarding roads and adjoining areas from potential damage, he called for continuous monitoring of the project.
At the College Link Road, the ADC assessed the condition of a damaged protection wall that has been causing inconvenience to commuters. Taking note of the situation, he directed the concerned officials to expedite repair work and complete it at the earliest to restore smooth movement and ensure public safety. He stressed that delays in such essential works can lead to avoidable hardships for residents.
The ADC also visited Boys Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah, where he reviewed the progress of ongoing renovation works. He inspected classrooms and other facilities under upgradation and instructed the executing agencies to maintain high standards of construction while ensuring timely completion. He underlined the importance of providing a conducive learning environment for students and urged officials to avoid any compromise in quality.
Later, the inspection tour took him to Sungli village, where he visited the revered Hidimba Mata Temple.

He took stock of development and maintenance works being carried out at the site and emphasized the need to preserve its cultural and religious significance while improving facilities for visitors.
The ADC concluded his tour with a visit to the Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah, where he inspected the newly constructed emergency wards and patient wards. He reviewed the infrastructure and directed the hospital authorities to ensure that the upgraded facilities translate into improved healthcare services for the public.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to development, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among departments to ensure timely execution of projects. He emphasized that regular monitoring and accountability are essential to achieving sustainable development and delivering better services to the people of the region.
