Shahzad Alam, Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, conducted a comprehensive visit to several market areas and petrol pumps across the district to assess the availability of fuel and other essential supplies. The visit was aimed at ensuring that residents do not face any inconvenience amid fluctuating demand and supply conditions.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner visited multiple filling stations and closely examined the stock position of petrol and diesel. He interacted with pump owners, managers, and staff members to gather first-hand information about the current supply scenario, delivery schedules, and any operational challenges being faced at the ground level. The officials at various outlets briefed him about the availability of fuel and assured that supplies were being maintained in accordance with demand. Shahzad Alam emphasized the importance of maintaining an uninterrupted supply of fuel, considering its critical role in transportation, healthcare, and other essential services. He directed the concerned authorities to remain vigilant and proactive in monitoring stock levels and distribution systems.
