The Indian Army recently conducted an outreach medical drive to deliver crucial healthcare services to the remote villages of Kheri, Gundi, and Andari in the Kalal sector. This initiative aimed to provide medical assistance directly to the doorsteps of the village communities, addressing the significant healthcare challenges faced by these isolated regions.
The mobile medical patrols were part of the Army’s ongoing efforts to support the well-being of people living in geographically isolated and underserved areas. These communities often struggle with healthcare access due to various factors such as poverty, illiteracy, and the challenging terrain that isolates them from urban centers with medical facilities.
Indian Army medical representatives, accompanied by their ‘Area Domination Parties,’ carried out the patrols with a commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of the villagers with utmost care and compassion. The mobile camps and patrols ensured that essential medical services reached those who needed them most, providing not only immediate care but also raising awareness about health and hygiene.
During the medical drive, a total of 54 villagers and their families received medical attention. The services included general health check-ups, distribution of medicines, and consultations on various health issues.
