Dogra Higher Secondary School vibrated with devotion and festivity as students and staff came together to celebrate the sacred festival of Maha Shivratri with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to instill spiritual values and educate students about the significance of Lord Shiva in Hindu mythology.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Mehar (8th Class), who set the tone for the celebration.
The Principal delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to embrace the virtues of Lord Shiva—wisdom, patience, and resilience.
A lively and engaging conversation between Ridham (8th) and Drishika (8th) enlightened the audience about the spiritual significance of Maha Shivratri, making the event both informative and engaging.
The cultural segment began with a delightful dance performance by Mairya (1st) and Amdya (2nd), followed by a soulful musical rendition by Virat (6th), which resonated with the audience. The highlight of the event was the Shiv Tandav—an energetic and spiritually uplifting dance performance by Kunmun (8th), depicting the divine power and grace of Lord Shiva.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Shivani Madam, expressing gratitude to the participants, organizers, and attendees for making the event a grand success.
