Atal ji’s leadership was transformative, marked by bold and visionary initiatives which revolutionized India’s road network and boosted economic development, said Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, while he addressed a meeting of BJP’s Akhnoor District unit.
Led by Kuldeep Sharma, District President of BJP Akhnoor, the meeting was attended by party’s DDCs, BDCs, Mandal Presidents with their teams, Atal ji Janma Shatabadi Varsh teams and many other leaders of the BJP Akhnoor.
Suraj Singh, DDC Vice-Chairperson, Bhushan Bral, Manmohan Singh, Jagdish Bhagat, Surinder Singh, Pardeep Chowdhary, Ram Saroop Sharma, Deepesh Singh, Shamsher Chand, Neeraj Sharma, Gourav Singh, Ankush Choudhary, Ashok Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Geeta Rajput, Shoki Bhagat, Ajay Singh Manhas, and Anu Manhas were amongst others present in the meeting.
Sat Sharma apprised the party leaders from Akhnoor about various programmes to commemorate the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Birth Centenary Year. Two phases of the programmes in this regard are being organized from 14th January to 15th March 2025 and the future programmes for next months will be finalized soon. He said that it is a matter of joy that this year is the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister, Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. He said that the former Prime Minister was a great visionary, hardworking, great statesman, who dedicated his whole life to strengthen the nation and for the welfare of its people. Sharma asked the district president to frame committees upto the Mandal level. He asked the party leaders to collect the photos, videos, speeches, motivational experiences related to Atal ji and honour the senior leaders and citizens, who have worked with the former Prime Minister.
Sat Sharma also asked the District Team to make the necessary preparations for the forthcoming party programme of “Samarpan Diwas”, which is commemorated every year on 11 February on the Balidan Diwas of party ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay ji.
Kuldeep Sharma along with his team felicitated Sat Sharma for his election to the post of BJP State President. He said that the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji is the ideal of every BJP worker, whose immense contribution to the nation and society is unparalleled. He assured the party leadership that the BJP Akhnoor district is ready to take the legacy of former Prime Minister to every hamlet in the region.
