Sham Lal Gupta, Chairman of the Anti-Crime NGO, has welcomed the Union Budget 2025-26 presented by Finance Minister Dr. Nirmala Sitharaman, describing it as a transformative roadmap for “Viksit Bharat@2047.” He lauded the budget for its inclusive approach, focusing on economic growth, middle-class empowerment, farmer welfare, and youth development, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a prosperous and self-reliant India.
Gupta praised the government’s commitment to strengthening key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and employment generation. He highlighted that the budget’s emphasis on digital transformation, renewable energy, and Make in India initiatives would further boost India’s global standing. He also appreciated the increase in capital expenditure, which is expected to accelerate development and create vast employment opportunities, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Expressing his satisfaction with the provisions made for the middle class, Gupta commended the focus on tax reliefs, affordable housing, and initiatives aimed at easing financial burdens on salaried individuals. He noted that the extension of various welfare schemes and targeted subsidies would enhance the purchasing power of common citizens, thereby strengthening the overall economy.
On the agriculture front, he applauded the measures aimed at modernizing the sector, enhancing farmers’ incomes, and promoting sustainable farming practices. He emphasized that the continued support to startups and MSMEs through financial assistance and ease of doing business policies would empower young entrepreneurs and contribute to the nation’s economic resilience.
Gupta further noted that the government’s focus on women-led development and skill enhancement programs for youth would create a stronger, self-sufficient workforce. He urged citizens to take advantage of the budget’s progressive policies and work collectively towards national development.
Reiterating his support for the Modi government’s vision, Gupta stated that the budget lays a strong foundation for India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

He expressed confidence that its implementation would uplift all sections of society and drive India towards unprecedented growth and prosperity.
