Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, organized an inspiring Career Counselling Session for Class 10th students. Several students of High Schools of the adjoining areas also participated in the session and benefited from the expert guidance provided by the counsellors . The soul aim of the session was to provide guidance to the students towards the career choices and personal growth.
The program commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Mrs. Eisha Gupta, who anchored the session. Worthy Managing Director of DHSS, Kunwar Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, graced the occasion and delivered an empowering address, emphasizing the importance of planning and dedication in achieving career goals.
He shared insightful advice on career readiness and provided helpful tips to the students for their upcoming board exams, emphasizing effective study strategies and time management.
The school’s Principal, Mrs. Devinder Kour, encouraged the students with her words of wisdom, motivating them to explore diverse opportunities and strive for excellence in their chosen fields. She also appreciated the faculty members for their relentless efforts in teaching and mentoring students, which has contributed to bringing excellent results year after year.
A Motivational Address by Mr. Omesh Chander Sharma, a distinguished lecturer of physics, captivated the audience with insights into how discipline and persistence pave the way for success.
The highlight of the session was an Inspirational Address by Mrs. Aditi Khajuria, an expert from Dogra Degree College. She shared valuable tips on career planning and skill development, inspiring students to align their aspirations with their talents.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs Eisha, leaving students enlightened and motivated to take charge of their futures. The program concluded with a refreshment session for the students, providing them with an opportunity to interact with the speakers and clarify their doubts.
