In its continued commitment to curb the menace of drugs in the region,Police Station Lalpora apprehended a drug peddler during a checkpoint Muqam Dardpora crossing at around 1345 hrs.During his personal search charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
The individual identified himself as Syed Yasir Shah, son of Syed Altaf Shah, resident of Dardpora.
The accused has been arrested and Case FIR No. 02/2025 has been registered in Police Station Lalpora under relevant sections of law. Further investigation is underway.
