The Modi Government, inspired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of social justice and equality, has implemented a range of transformative policies and initiatives that align with his ideals. As the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar championed the rights of marginalized communities, emphasizing economic empowerment, social dignity, and equal opportunities for all.
Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA, R. S. Pura, said this, while addressing a review meeting of the “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyan” programmes being undertaken at booth and mandal levels with prominent activists of the constituency on Sunday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has frequently expressed his admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s vision, ensuring that the government’s development agenda upholds these principles. Various schemes and initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to fulfilling Dr. Ambedkar’s dream of an inclusive India. “Dr. Ambedkar believed in economic independence as a cornerstone of true empowerment”, said Dr. Narinder Singh, adding that, the Modi government’s flagship initiatives, such as the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, has provided financial support to small entrepreneurs, many from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, enabling them to establish businesses and become self-reliant.
Dr. Ambedkar often stressed the transformative power of education. Reflecting this, the government has focused on improving access to quality education for underprivileged communities. The Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SCs ensures financial assistance for higher education. The Modi government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) echoes Ambedkar’s call for dignity through adequate housing. Millions of families, including those from backward and marginalized communities, have been provided with affordable homes. Programmes like Jal Jeevan Mission and Ujjwala Yojana ensure access to clean water and cooking gas, improving the quality of life for the disadvantaged.
Dr. Singh said that the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been further strengthened under Modi’s leadership, ensuring justice for vulnerable communities.
Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar’s vision remains a guiding light for his government. By focusing on social justice, economic empowerment, and equal opportunities, the Modi administration ensures that Ambedkar’s ideals continue to shape India’s progress.
