The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, IPS, today felicitated SPO Manpreet of Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ), Jammu, for his remarkable performance at the 34th National Strength Lifting and Inclined Bench Press (IBP) Championship held in Loharu, Haryana. Manpreet clinched a silver medal in the prestigious event, showcasing his dedication and exceptional talent.
The felicitation ceremony was held at ZPHQ Jammu, where the ADGP presented a memento to Manpreet, commending his hard work and encouraging him to continue excelling in sports and other fields. Anand Jain emphasized that such achievements by police personnel serve as a source of inspiration for the youth and reflect the dedication of the police force to excel in multiple spheres beyond their professional duties. “The Jammu and Kashmir Police department is committed to supporting its personnel who excel in extracurricular activities and contribute positively to society,” the ADGP stated during the event. The championship, organized by the Haryana Strength Lifting Association, witnessed participants from across the country competing in various categories. The accomplishment of SPO Manpreet highlights the spirit of perseverance and commitment, bringing laurels to the Jammu and Kashmir Police. SO to ADGP Jammu Zone was also present on the occasion.
