Baseline Survey under Mission YUVA Formally Launched in District Ramban

District Administration Ramban, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, formally launched the baseline survey under Mission YUVA during a mega event held at Government Degree College Ramban. The initiative aims to empower the youth and drive meaningful development in the district.
Principal GDC Ramban, Archna Koul, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Ganesh Kumar, Assistant Director Employment Amit Kumar, BDO Ramban Tanzil Runyal, and various other senior officers participated in the programme.
In her address, Principal Archna Koul emphasized the significance of Mission YUVA in shaping the future of the youth. She highlighted the role of educational institutions in collaborating with the administration to ensure the successful execution of youth-centric programs like the baseline survey.
Interacting with the participants, DSEO Ganesh Kumar provided insights into the methodology and objectives of the baseline survey. He stressed the importance of accurate data collection to identify challenges faced by the youth and to develop tailored solutions for their growth and welfare.
Earlier, AD Employment, Amit Kumar underlined the importance of integrating employment-related data into the survey to identify gaps and create job opportunities for the youth. He also encouraged participants to engage actively in the survey process to achieve the mission’s goals. During the program, BDO Ramban Tanzeel Runyal, supervisors, and other participants deliberated on various issues regarding conduct of the baseline survey across the district.
Taking feedback from ground-level workers and supervisors regarding the baseline survey, senior officers also sensitized the participants about the mobile app specifically designed for the initiative. The app is expected to facilitate efficient data collection and enhance youth engagement, marking a significant step toward achieving the mission’s objectives.
The officers also appealed to the public, especially the youth, to cooperate with enumerators visiting their areas to ensure the successful completion of the survey.
