Cooperative Department Udhampur on Wednesday hosted a mega event to mark the inauguration of 10,000 new PACS, Dairy, Fishery Cooperative Societies by Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah.
The district administration organised live streaming of the National event envisaging the vision of “Sahakar-se-Samradhi.”
The district level program was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai and attended by the members of the local Cooperative Societies associated with dairy, sheep rearing, Agriculture, banking and other sectors. The DC handed over registration certificates to newly registered PACS (Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society) and a Sheep FPO in the cooperative sector.
The move envisages to implement the ambitious plan of covering all the Panchayats/ villages in the country with multipurpose PACS, Dairy, Fishery cooperative societies.
