Jammu, 13 December: A hawan puja with chanting of vedic mantras was performed by Division of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences at Main Campus Chatha of SKUAST-Jammu for the well being and further development of the Institution. On the occasion HOD Biochemistry Dr. Moni Gupta, University Librarian Dr. RK Samnotra, Professor Sanjay Guleria, President SKUAST-TAJ Dr Vikas Sharma, Dr. Vinod Sangwan, Dr. Manoj, Sdrn. Balvinder Kour, Mr. Akshydeep, Ms. Komal, Mr. Kulbir Singh, Mr. Gulshan along with other staff members and students from various divisions of Basic Sciences were present. All the teachers, non teaching staff and students present there, bowed to the Maa Saraswati, seeked the blessings and prayed for the long prosperity of the SKUAST-Jammu. A bhandara was also organized after the puja.
