Railway Police J&K (GRP Jammu) has recovered 7kg Ganja like banned narcotic substance.
The seized contraband is worth Rs 7 lakh rupees market price. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 10/2024 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station GRP Kathua and investigation initiated. Thorough investigation will be conducted to dig out the backward and forward linkages of source of the banned drug.
This is the ninth case of seizure of banned drugs made by GRP Jammu in the last 02 months.
The market price of these seized banned drugs is worth Rs 1cr 4 lakh.
