In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, the General Observer for AC-57 Reasi and AC-58 SMVD conducted a thorough inspection of three key polling stations today. The polling stations inspected were Gran Brotian 1 (Polling Station 169), Gran Barotian 1A (Polling Station 168), and Gran Barotian (Polling Station 167) in Assembly Constituency 57 (Reasi).
The General Observer’s inspection included a review of the latest voter lists, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in voter data. Emphasis was placed on the proper distribution of these voter lists, which is essential for smooth election procedures in the forthcoming assembly elections. The Observer ensured that all preparations at these stations are in accordance with the guidelines laid out by the Election Commission of India.
The Observer also interacted with polling officials to verify the arrangements being made for the voters, ensuring that all necessary steps were being taken to provide a fair and transparent election process. Additionally, the General Observer assessed the availability of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMFs) at the polling stations, which are crucial for ensuring a comfortable and accessible voting experience for all.
