MSME-Development Nucleus Cell, Ladakh the field office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSME Sector for Ladakh with jurisdiction of both District’s Leh and Kargil. The activities including Entrepreneurship Awareness Program, Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Program, Procurement Marketing Support Scheme Awareness Prog-ram, PM-Vishwakarma Seminar, PM-Vishwakarma Awareness Workshop, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Program, Management Development Program, Reimbursement of Barcode Expenditure, Reimbursement of Stall Charges, To and From Charges, Advertising Expenditure for participating in various exhibitions conducted in all parts of the Country.
Dr.Rajneesh, Additional Secretary of Union Ministry of MSME visited Ladakh and chaired a meeting with Industries Association of Ladakh including Chamber of Industries& Commerce, Ladakh, Wood Carving& Carpentry Association, Leh, Solar Industries Association, Ladakh and representative of District Industries Centre at MSME DNC, Leh. Dr.Rajneesh highlighted the schemes of the Union Ministry and requested the industries Associations to educate their members to avail the schemes. He has given details about Cluster Development Programme of the Ministry in which projects with project cost up to 10 Crs can be approved under the Ministry with 05% beneficiary contribution and subsidy component of 95% for establishing Common Facility Centre. The association representatives have informed the issues towards that may need his attention like Public procurement Policy 2012 implementation, PMEGP related issues etc which has been noted for necessary action from the Ministry. Dr.Rajneesh also had separate meeting with senior officials of the Government of Ladakh.
