The Jammu Kashmir Sant Samaj Nayas organized a press conference on Friday, chaired by the organization’s General Secretary, Mahant Rajesh Bittu. Addressing the media, Mahant Bittu emphasized the collaborative efforts of all Sadhu Samitis and Sadhu Samaj Nayas Committees across Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting their dedication to serving the community.
He announced that the Jammu Kashmir Sant Samaj Nayas will work in tandem with other committees to support the Shri Amarnath pilgrims. A special langar will be set up in Lakhanpur to provide food to the pilgrims. Additionally, a separate langar offering milk and tea will be arranged. Accommodation for the pilgrims will be provided at the ashram of Sant Shri Subhash Shastri Ji.
Mahant Rajesh Bittu emphasized that it is the government’s responsibility to ensure the security, protection, and transportation of the Amarnath pilgrims. He expressed his wishes for the blessings of Bhole Baba to be with everyone involved in the pilgrimage.
He also mentioned the upcoming appointments within the organization. A chairman, four vice presidents, one secretary, and four advisors will be appointed soon to strengthen the organization’s efforts. The conference highlighted key members of the organization, including Mahant Shanti Giri Ji as president, Mohan Giri Ji as senior vice president, Mohan Bharti Ji as general secretary, and Mahant Jasmeer Ji as secretary.
This initiative by the Jammu Kashmir Sant Samaj Nayas underscores their commitment to supporting the Shri Amarnath Yatra and ensuring the well-being of the pilgrims.
The collaboration with other Sadhu Samitis and the arrangements for langar and accommodation are set to provide significant aid to the pilgrims, enhancing their spiritual journey.
