RAMBAN, June 12
The District Administration Ramban extended a warm welcome to the devotees participating in the Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Yatra, 2024 here at Chanderkote.
Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, alongside SSP, Anuj Kumar; Addl. SP Gaurav Mahajan; ACR, S. Harpal Singh; Tehsildar Deep Kumar’ Dy. SP Om Prakash, religious leaders, and prominent citizens of the area welcomed the pilgrimage.
The yatra saw the enthusiastic participation of about more than 6,000 devotees, including members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, who commenced their journey from Jammu to attend the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela in Kashmir.
The Deputy Commissioner, along with other officials, interacted with the pilgrims to get feedback on the facilities provided at the Langar.
He assured the devotees that the District and Police Administration, in collaboration with Langar organization, social, and religious groups, have made comprehensive arrangements to ensure their comfort and safety.
This included adequate provisions for meals, health services, sanitation, security, and other essential services for the Yatries.
After enjoying their meal at Chanderkote, the devotees continued onward journey towards Tulmulla, Kashmir.
