Commerce Department of Dogra Degree College organized a visit to Dabur India Ltd. manufacturing facility today. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the manufacturing processes of one of India’s leading consumer goods companies.
Ms. Swati Mahajan, Incharge, Department of Commerce, led the visit, which included 50 students and 7 staff members. During the visit, the visiting team received by Mr. Dipen charkaborty, Unit Head, Dabur India Limited Jammu and his team.
Mr. Sanjay Bhasin, HR Head of Dabur India Limited welcomed the students and staff and provided them with a detailed briefing about the manufacturing of Dabur products. He highlighted the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability in its manufacturing processes. He also shared valuable insights into the nuances of the industry, highlighting key trends, challenges, and opportunities. The interactive sessions and discussions were not only enlightening but also provided our students with a real-world perspective on the dynamics of the commerce sector. The students were given a guided tour of the manufacturing unit, where they observed firsthand the various processes involved in the production of Dabur products. They were impressed by the advanced technology and stringent quality control measures employed by Dabur India Limited.
Students’ visit has undoubtedly enriched their understanding of the commerce industry and will greatly benefit their academic programs and enabling them to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. It also provided them with valuable insights into the functioning of a large-scale manufacturing unit.
