In a successful operation, the District Police Kathua has apprehended an absconder named Mohd. Jabar, son of Ghulam Hussain and resident of Sandrani Tehsil & District Udhampur, who was wanted in connection with case FIR No. 06/2016 under Section 188/RPC at PS Lakhanpur.
Mohd. Jabar had been evading arrest since 2016, following the issuance of a warrant against him by the Honorable Court of law. The authorities had been diligently searching for him ever since.
Acting on information received on 18/03/2024, Kathua police swiftly dispatched a team led by the SHO of PS Lakhanpur, under the guidance of DySP DAR Kathua, to locate and apprehend Mohd. Jabar. The operation resulted in the successful arrest of the accused.
Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
