Dogra Degree College organises awareness program on Welfare Schemes at Upper Kartholi

The NSS unit of Dogra Degree College, in collaboration with the Agricultural Department of Samba District, organized a comprehensive awareness program on various government welfare schemes on the third day of their NSS Winter Camp.
The event held in the presence of the public of Upper Kartholi, featured Mr. Somesh Sharma, Apiculture Development Assistant as the Resource Person, along with Rakesh Kundal from Demonstration cum Training Centre, Rakh Dhayansar.
Priyanka Sharma, NSS Program Officer. The session aimed to educate the attendees about the numerous welfare schemes implemented by the government for the welfare and development of society.
Somesh Sharma, a distinguished social worker, delivered an insightful presentation, highlighting the significance of these schemes and their impact on the community.
Priyanka Sharma, NSS Program Officer, along with Ashish Thakur, Assistant professor, management emphasized the role of NSS in promoting social welfare and encouraged the participants to actively participate in such programs for the betterment of society.
The collaboration between the NSS unit and the Agricultural Department is part of a broader effort to engage with local communities and create awareness about government initiatives.
