Apni Party leaders today felicitated Balbir Singh for his appointment as Provincial President of the Party’s Minority Wing in Jammu.
In this felicitation function, Party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, and Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh along with other leaders participated here at Apni Party Office, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Congratulating Balbir Singh for his appointment, Ghulam Hassan Mir hoped that he would work for the social, economic, educational, and political awakening of the minorities in Jammu region.
Mir said that the Party is aware of the difficulties being faced by the minority communities in Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, the Party has established a special wing to address the concerns of the minorities and provide them with an appropriate platform for the social, economic, educational, and political upliftment.
He said that the Party believes in the agenda of telling the truth to the people and representing all the sections of society equally with no disparity or politics of division.
“The Party has been founded to give equal opportunity to all the people and both the regions should be treated equally regarding development, and employment,” he said.
He however appreciated the Party leadership’s role in Jammu and asked them to expand their roots in other areas of the region.
Meanwhile, Manjit Singh, Provincial President of the Party, also spoke on the occasion and commended Balbir Singh for his work.
