Students from Thathri’s Educational Zone Immerse in Vocational Exposure at Bhaderwah Campus

In a significant educational initiative under the aegis of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan scheme, students from Government Upper Primary School (GUPS) Cheera, Upper Primary School (UPS) Doki, UPS Zenhari, UPS Sipla, and Government Girls Middle School (GGMS) Bhella in Zone Thathri, District Doda, were welcomed at Bhaderwah Campus for a vocational exposure visit spanning from class 6th to 8th.
Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. J P Singh Joorel in his message extended a warm welcome to the visiting students and accompanying staff. Prof. J P Singh Joorel emphasized the importance of such visits, stating, “Bhaderwah Campus appreciates and values these interactions. These experiences are pivotal in helping our future generations shape their aspirations and set meaningful goals.”
In his message Rector Bhaderwah Campus said that such initiatives underline the commitment of educational institutions to go beyond conventional teaching methods and actively contribute to the overall growth and well-being of students.
Assistant Registrar of Bhaderwah Campus, Mr. Abdul Mujeeb Sheikh, addressed the students and expressed his delight in hosting them. He highlighted the campus’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for learning and skill development.
During the visit, Dr. Waqar Yunus from the Department of English delivered an insightful lecture on social issues, focusing on the drawbacks of the drug menace and other societal challenges. The aim was to provide students with a broader understanding of their role in addressing and mitigating such issues.
Mr. Yasir Hussain, Teacher I/C accompanying the students, extended his gratitude to Rector Prof. J P Singh Joorel for the warm reception. He acknowledged the positive impact such visits have on the students’ overall development.
The students actively engaged in interactive sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations, gaining firsthand experiences that complemented their academic curriculum. The Bhaderwah Campus faculty ensured that the visit was both enriching and enlightening.
