Akhnoor celebrates Shri Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ with religious fervor

Akhnoor was completely immersed in spiritual colors on Monday as special prayers were held in all the temples on the occasion of “Pran Pratishtha” of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. In Akhnoor Kameshwar Temple, Jio Pota Temple, Puli Wala Temple, Sumah Dev Sthan, Ram Mandir Maira Jagir, Maa Kali Mandir Bomal, Sant Shri Devkinandan Ashram Mandrian were beautifully decorated with flowers, lamps and bhagwa flags.
Live telecast of Pran Pratishtha was watched by Ram devotees in Radha Chowk and Sungal Morh of Akhnoor. After Pran Pratistha, the members of Shri Ram Leela Club gathered at Radha Chowk, performed Aarti of Lord Ram. Parsad and Sweets were distributed by the devotees at various places in Pakka Danga, Manda, Nirdosh Chowk and Bus Stand. Meanwhile, members of NGO Team Umeed celebrated the “Pran Pratishtha” of Shri Ram Temple by donating Cattle Feed and Other items at Jai Maa Surbhi Gaushala, Akhnoor.
Anu Singh Manhas described 22 January as a historic day that makes India proud. He said that after almost 500 years of prestige, Lord Ram has finally settled in his house today. He said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a special contribution in this, for which the entire country will be indebted to him.
A special program was organized at Sant Shri Devkinandan Ashram, Mandrian. Ram devotees watched the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha program after which the Saint Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj delivered spiritual discourses. Hundreds of devotees including District Development Council member Suresh Sharma paid obeisance during the occasion.
DDC member Suresh Sharma, while congratulating people on “Pran Pratishtha” of Shri Ram Mandir said, “This moment is achieved after centuries of struggle. This is the victory of millions of Ram devotees who dedicated everything for the construction of the temple. ” He said that today the entire country is engrossed in devotion to Ram and a bigger festival than Diwali is being celebrated. He said that this is a picture of changing India. He said that today the name of Ram is echoing in every nook and corner of the country.
The devotees who organised various programs included Brij Mehta, Vinay Sapolia, Rakesh Gupta, Sanjay Saraf, Tarsem Gupta, Sunny Sharma, Vishal Singh, Hunny Sharma, Tilak Raj, Raju, Anav Langer, Narinder Singh, Rajat Sharma, Sachin Sharma, Gaurav Sharma, Deepak, Raghuvir Singh, Ashok Shastri, Sanjay Saraf, Jatin Manni, Siddharth Mahajan, Ashok Gupta, Ranjit Rohmetra, Joginder Singh, Verinder Mishra, Ranjit Singh, Akshay Magotra, Sher Singh, Uttam Singh, Shakti Kumar.
