In a proactive move on public safety, a mega awareness event combining the National Road Safety Month with Nasha Mukht campaign unfolded at Bus Stand Thathri, today.
Under the watchful supervision of Deputy Commissioner DODA, Harvinder Singh, and the guidance of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, the event aimed to instill awareness about road safety and the perils of substance abuse.
The central focus of the program was to enlighten the public, especially drivers, on the critical aspects of road safety. Emphasis was placed on adhering to traffic rules, wearing helmets, and refraining from driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Inspector MVD Doda, Robin Parihar, took the lead in communicating the objectives of the ongoing National Road Safety Month, urging individuals to actively participate in the Nasha Mukht campaign to combat the drug menace. The event also featured a pledge-taking ceremony, further solidifying the commitment to road safety.
