jammu, Jan 18
Sham Lal Langer, Convenor Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Trade Cell, Jammu and Kashmir while asserting that BJP will leave no stone unturned to make the grand Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 a memorable event, appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the occasion at their home places with great sanctity and enthusiasm. In a statement issued to the media here today, the senior BJP leader said that the consecration ceremony is a historical occasion for the nation and its people. However he condemned the opposition parties under the INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) bloc for denying the invitation to the sacred event by politicizing it to gain political mileage. He said that the aforesaid parties are not going to gain anything from taking such a stand.
He said that prior to their decision to attend or not to attend it was clear that INDIA block would ultimately make an unnecessary issue of it as most of its constituent parties uttered statements that reflected that they had been caught in a Catch-22 situation.
Lauding the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for setting the tone for the sacred event at Ayodhya, Sham Langar said that the whole world is waiting today for the historic moment. He said that this event is undoubtedly an occasion of joy, pride, and self-satisfaction for crores of Sanatan believers. Moreover this temple is a future Rashtra Mandir that embodies Bharat’s cultural, spiritual, and social unity, he added. In such a situation the stance of the opposition parties is highly condemnable especially when Ram belongs to each and every individual and not to a particular cult or community.
Sham Langar reiterated his appeal to the people to celebrate the occasion by lighting special Diyas, Shri Ram Jyoti in their homes making the celebration of the day of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ at Ram temple just as Deepawali.
