DC addresses public concerns at Weekly Block Diwas in CFC Chenani

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai conducted a visit to Block Chenani, where she actively participated in the weekly Block Diwas program organized in the Community Facility Centre (CFC).
Accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Ghan Sham Singh, DFO Rushal Garg, SDM Chenani Parvaiz Naik and BDO Disha Gupta, the DC engaged with the local community to address a plethora of issues.
Among the concerns raised were demand for a bus service from Udhampur to Latti via Chenani, road upgradation from Bupp to Lothar and Berkunda to Mitra, meeting shortage of staff at High School Bupp Sarar, release of pending payments under MGNREGA, staff shortage at the health sub-centre in Tandar, construction of a primary school building, water supply shortage at Kud Panchayat, creation of a parking place at Patnitop, implementation of JJM, blacktopping and maintenance of various roads etc.
In response to these concerns, the DC assured the public that their genuine issues would be addressed in a timely manner. She directed officers to work collaboratively to ensure equitable development across all Panchayats. The DC further instructed concerned officers to prioritize resolving public demands and submit detailed reports on pending issues for consideration by higher authorities.
