In a philanthropic endeavor aimed at enhancing community well-being, Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra orchestrated the 79th Free Eye Screening/Check-Up, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme, and Domicile Registration Camp at Baby Caterers Rehari Jammu. This impactful initiative unfolded in collaboration with Sood Eye Centre, a unit of Agarwal Hospitals, with a primary focus on providing accessible healthcare services to the community.
Led by the skilled hands of Dr. Avitesh Kumar, an experienced Eye Surgeon with an M.S. qualification, a dedicated team undertook the responsibility of conducting thorough eye examinations for the attendees. The camp encompassed a comprehensive range of services, including Refraction, NCT (Non-Contact Tonometry), AR (Auto-Refraction) Check-Up, and Vision Check-Up. Notably, a total of 102 patients were extended the privilege of receiving these crucial treatments entirely free of cost. To further fortify the health outreach, free medicines were generously distributed among the patients, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.
Expressing his commitment to community welfare, Keshav Chopra articulated that the initiative’s core objective was to provide accessible eye care services to the people at their doorstep.
The overarching mission of Samvedna Society revolves around uplifting the living standards of the needy sections of society. Emphasizing the society’s dedication to giving back to the community, Chopra highlighted their mission to provide free-of-cost treatment to those who cannot afford it.
During the event, Keshav Chopra shed light on the importance of healthcare promotion and expressed a resolute commitment to ensuring that those in need receive necessary medical attention without financial constraints. The camp not only provided essential eye care services but also facilitated the process of obtaining the Ayushman Bharat Golden Card, PM Vishwakarma Scheme registration, and Domicile Registration. This streamlined approach aimed to simplify administrative processes and bring vital services closer to the people.
