DGPC Pays Tribute to Sahibzadas: Special Screening of “Chaar Sahibzaade”

In a poignant tribute to the martyrdom week of the four Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh, the District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu, in collaboration with the J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages Jammu, organized a special screening of the animated film “CHAAR SAHIBZADE at Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
S. Balvinder Singh, Vice President of DGPC Jammu extended warm welcome to all attendees gathered to commemorate the solemn occasion. Singh expressed gratitude to Bharat Singh Manhas, Secretary of J&K Arts, Culture, and Languages, for providing the space for the screening of movie. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Secretary of JKACL in orchestrating various programs like organizing Punjabi Musheras, Kavi Samelan etc in both provinces of Jammu & Kashmir for the promotion of Punjabi Language.
Balvinder Singh further praised the significant contributions of S. Popinder Singh, Senior Editor of Sheeraza, bi monthly Punjabi magazine, recognizing the influential role the editor played in promoting Punjabi culture.
S. Surjit Singh, Secretary of DGPC Jammu, conveyed a heartfelt vote of thanks to all those in attendance. He expressed gratitude for the support and participation, emphasizing that the success of the event was a collective effort fueled by the community’s dedication and collaboration.
