RMMC holds health camp for students at Springdales School

Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre (RMMC), Udheywala, Jammu, organized a free health camp for students at Springdales School, Muthi, Jammu.
The camp aimed to provide basic health checkups and consultations to students, promoting preventive healthcare and early detection of any potential health issues.
A team of five doctors, including Dr. B.D. Sharma, Dr. Neera Singh, Dr. Aneesh Uppal, Dr. Umesh Padha, and Dr. Komal Raina, examined over 320 students throughout the day.
Swami Vijayeshananda, the Medical Centre in-charge, along with B.K Raina, Archana Manhas, Principal of Springdales School, and Upasana Sharma, Office Administrator, were present at the camp and ensured its smooth operation.
Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission, praised the initiative and emphasized the importance of regular health checkups, especially for young people. He stated, “Organizing such health camps in schools is crucial for timely detection of health issues among students and ensuring their well-being. We encourage taking this initiative to other schools as well.”
The Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre’s efforts in organizing this health camp were met with appreciation from both the school administration and the students. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting health awareness and ensuring the well-being of future generations.
