‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ which means ‘Aapki Sarkar, Apke Dwar’ is an effort of Modi government to provide benefit to every needy person at his/her doorstep, said Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal; while he said that, the National Conference (NC) leader has undermined the public welfare endeavour and is trying to create wrong narrative in the public.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Jammu and Kashmir BJP State General Secretary & former Minister said this while reacting to the statement of Provincial President of J&K National Conference that ‘BJP’s Bharat Vikas Sankalp Yatra is a flop show’. He said that the NC leaders don’t have detailed knowledge about the Yatra, which is indeed very unfortunate and reflective of the casual approach of such leaders on important events and programmes of public importance.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ is an important event to make people aware of and register themselves in various developmental projects and welfare schemes by reaching at the Panchayats, Municipal wards through LED fixed vans. The government departments also install various stalls showcasing the concerned schemes wherever the van reaches and the officials explain various schemes like Ayushman Card, Awas Yojana, newly launched PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Svanidhi Yojna for rehri-fadi vendors, Kissan Samman Niddhi etc.
The government officials also identify such families in Panchayats and Municipal wards, who have not availed the benefit of any welfare schemes till now and are registered on the spot as new beneficiaries for the future.
Dr. Devinder Manyal clarified that it is not the scheme of BJP but central government’s initiative and the party cadre only extends support to the government teams and creates awareness among the eligible poor and needy people to come forward for registration for the welfare schemes, which suits them. He said that the party only provides service to the people, which is the mission of the BJP.
Dr. Devinder Manyal further said that the PM Narendra Modi has given a slogan of developed nation by 2047 wherein the needs and the aspirations of every poor and needy stands fulfilled. Meanwhile, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, BJP State Incharge ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, insisted that the opposition stands perturbed with the success of this endeavor. He said that this whole Yatra aims to achieve the saturation of public welfare schemes, which means that the benefit of these schemes is delivered to every needy person and this thought has shaken the very ground of those opposition parties, who did nothing during their rule.
