As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the IEC special van today reached Panchayat Bansultan in block Miran Sahib amid a warm welcome by the members of the Swagat Committee, PRI representatives led by Vidya Motan, DDC member Miran Sahib. The van displayed a video message of the PM, in which he urges the people to take a pledge to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. The people present at the event took the Sankalp and expressed their commitment to the cause. The event was followed by cultural performances by the students who showcased their talent and enthusiasm through songs, dances, sports events and skits. A health camp was also organised by the health department where free screening of TB and NCD was being done. Representatives of the line departments put up their stalls and explained about various schemes and programmes run by the government for the public welfare. They also distributed pamphlets and brochures among the people and answered their queries. The public also availed free health care services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Ayushman Bharat Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries and prizes were also distributed. The event in Panchayat Bansultan was a successful one and the people appreciated the efforts of the organisers.
