Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra make its mark at Draman Panchayat in Block Bhoond

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering developmental pace in rural and urban landscape was officially inaugurated at Panchayat Draman in Block Bhoond, Kathua district today.
The event, presided over by DDC Chairman Col. (Retd) Mahan Singh, witnessed a significant turnout of individuals, members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and enthusiastic students. The event unfolded near the Information, Educa-tion, and Communication (IEC) Van, also known as the Viksit Bharat Rath, which served as an informative hub showcasing a myriad of government initiatives and schemes. The display underscored the government’s commitment to a holistic approach encapsulated in the spirit of ‘Jan Bhagidari’ or people’s participation.
One of the highlights of the event was the groundbreaking demonstration of drone technology for agricultural innovation.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra showcased the potential of drones in revolutionizing agriculture, providing a glimpse into the future of farming practices. The live demonstration captivated the audience, particularly the farming community, inspiring them to explore and adopt modern agricultural techniques.
