The Supreme Court verdict upholding the abrogation of Article 370 is a historic victory for national unity and integration.
This was stated by Sham Lal Langer, Convenor BJP Trade Cell, J&K, in a statement issued here today.
The senior BJP leader said “This landmark judgment lays to rest decades of political and legal uncertainty, paving the way for a brighter future for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The abrogation was a necessary step to ensure full and equal participation of J&K in India’s vibrant democracy, and the Supreme Court has decisively affirmed its constitutionality.”
He highlighted the positive developments that followed the abrogation, including Increased investment and economic growth, enhanced security, improved governance, empowerment of J&K residents, etc.
“The Supreme Court’s verdict is a resounding endorsement of the BJP’s commitment to national unity and equal rights for all Indian citizens. We are confident that this decision will usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and development for Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
Sham Langer also called upon all political parties to respect the Supreme Court’s verdict and work together for the betterment of J&K and its people.
“This is a time for unity, not division. Let us put aside our differences and come together to build a brighter future for all,” he added.
