The Jammu and Kashmir Police have reunited a mentally challenged man of Bihar with his family. The police, while on yatra duty near Manda area on the outskirts of Jammu, found a person roaming suspiciously. On questioning, he was found mentally challenged and was taken to Police Post, Panjtirthi. Later, he was identified as Sumankar Jha (40), a resident of Samastipur district, Bihar. The police made strenuous efforts, approached the Waini police station and verified the whereabouts of the said person. Accordingly, his parents were informed through the police station concerned. Sumankar’s brother reached Panjtirthi on Wednesday and told that the former was missing from home for the past two years. He was handed over to his legal heirs after completing the necessary formalities.
