On Monday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled Rs 112950 crore budget for Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory for 2022-23 in the Lok Sabha.
As per the news agency, of Rs 112950 crore budget estimates, Rs 71615 crore is revenue expenditure, and Rs 41335 crore is capital expenditure.
As per budget documents, the budget estimates for the ongoing fiscal have been revised to Rs 102445 crore from Rs 108621 crore.
This was the third budget of J&K presented in the parliament after August 5, 2019, when the Centre read down Article 370 and reorganized the erstwhile state of J&K into two UTs.
