Srinagar highway and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road and Mughal Road will continue to remain shut on Thursday due to landslides and slippery conditions due to the prevailing rains and heavy snowfall J&K, Traffic officials informed.
As per the advisory issued by Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police, “Tomorrow on 24-02-2022, vehicular movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW will remain suspended due to huge landslide at Cafeteria Morh, continuous shooting stones at many places between Ramban and Banihal and snow accumulation between NAVYUG Tunnel and Qazigund.”
” People are requested not to undertake any journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW tomorrow, an advisory reads.
MUGHAL ROAD/SSG ROAD/KISHTWAR-SINTHAN ROAD
Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road and Kishtwar-Sinthan Road were closed for vehicular movement in view of snow accumulation by the Administration.
