Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday recorded 232 fresh Covid cases, taking the number of infected persons to 451792 however no fatality was reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said.
Of the new cases, 162 were from the Jammu division and 70 from the Kashmir division of the union territory, Officials said.
Jammu district recorded the highest number of cases at 85, followed by 40 in Srinagar district.
There are 2978 active cases in the union territory while the number of recoveries so far has been 444069, officials said.
Moreover, they said 937 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 324 from Jammu Division and 613 from Kashmir.
