CRPF has made tight security arrangements on the Yatra route, including Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan on Navratri. CRPF has already started its preparations. CRPF IG PS Ranpise has said that Navratri is a significant festival. The CRPF has left no stone unturned for the safety of the devotees who come for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. He was addressing the media personnel after the CRPF personnel were dispatched to Delhi at Group Center Bantalab.
Ranpise said that the CRPF would maintain security arrangements at Vaishno Devi and other shrines so that the devotees could offer prayers fearlessly. He said that security forces had been deployed from Katra town to Yatra Marg and Bhawan. Not only this, but the security forces are also keeping a close watch on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. It is their responsibility to provide security to every citizen. Each of his jawans is fulfilling his responsibility responsibly. There is no need for any devotee or tourist coming to Jammu and Kashmir to panic.
Regarding the role of CRPF amid militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that their jawans are taking front along with Army, Police and other paramilitary forces. He has the responsibility of road opening on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. CRPF jawans are performing their duty well on the entire highway.
CRPF’s IGP PS Ranpise has also considered the repeated infiltration of drones into Indian territory by Pakistan as a significant challenge. He said that drones are a big challenge for us, but security agencies are working together to deal with this challenge. IG Runpisse noted that the Central and the security agencies deployed in Jammu and Kashmir are preparing themselves to deal with this challenge. Soon we will be fully capable of this.
